Deborah White is a freelance journalist specializing in liberal politics, and progressive issues and perspectives.
In January 2007, Deborah was elected to a two-year term as a member of the California Democratic State Central Committee, and is a delegate to the California Democratic Party conventions in 2007 and 2008. She's also served as a federal elections official in California, and assisted the Nevada Democratic Party in its 2008 presidential caucus.
Experience:
Deborah has been politically active since her undergraduate years at UCLA. She's been a community activist for two decades, and has held leadership positions on community non-profit boards, in churches and in the corporate world.
Education:
Deborah studied journalism and non-fiction writing as an undergraduate, graduating Cum Laude from University of California, Los Angeles. She earned an MBA from California State University, Long Beach, and has taught at three universities.
